The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 is still the Italian for angular brilliance but after four years in development it’s a beast of a supercar the handles surprising well.
Lamborghini aficionados may complain that the very the eccentricities of previous models that made for a tougher behind-the-wheel experience was exactly what made the car so unique. Battling with unbridled power and acceleration was always the more sporting side of owning a car such as this. But you can certainly see that the legendary car manufacturer form Emilia-Romagna in Northern Italy have always striven for the perfect sports car so this is natural evolution.
6.5-litre V-12 mid-mounted engine generates a whopping 690 hp, which gives a stomach churning 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. The 80’s-chic wing doors are standard but the line of the car is bit more bullish hence the name ‘Aventador’, a legendary trophy-winning Spanish fighting bull. With a top speed of 350 kph this is a serious brute of a supercar. As is all the rage these days much of the aluminium in the chasis has been replaced by carbon fibre making it 90 kg lighter, for that you also get a more responsive, flexible car that takes corners better and sticks to the road.

The interior has been restyled too with a lot more headroom and more comfortable seat configuration. The exquisite upholstering can be individualised to you specifications; what’s the point in buying a car like this if you’re not going to at least have your initials on the seats?
