Don't drink and email. New Google technology prevents late night blunders
Whoever hasn't done it, is a blackberry virgin.
A phone/laptop/empty house and a few post-work vodkas on an empty stomach and even the sanest person can feel compelled to share a little cyber love. Thankfully Google has come to our rescue with a clever little service that will ensure late night embarrassments remain between you and the desktop.
When you enable the new application "Mail Goggles" (aptly named after the infamous beer goggles), it will automatically check that you're really (really) sure you want to send that late night email. And what better way to check than by making you solve a few simple maths problems after you click the send button to verify you're in the right state of mind?
Although secretly a bit worried we may never be able to send emails again (equations were never our strong point), the default setting is wisely only for active late nights or weekend leaving boozy lunches scarily wide open however once the service is enabled it can be adjusted when active in the general settings option. Hurrah Mr. Google!
