We weren't surprised to hear that Cantiere Feltrinelli, the Italian shipyard, famous for its glorious and historical racing boat  "Dino Feltrinelli", has collaborated with Frauscher (www.frauscherboats.com) to produce a new eco-collection of  motor boats. In fact, Frauscher can already claim the "very now" crown of being the world wide leader in the eco-compatible yachting market.

This coming May the new Frauscher model “686 Lido Editione Dino Feltrinelli”, a limited collection (just nine pieces), designed in collaboration with set designer Annette Hintwirth will be previewed to the world's press. As the company explains, “during the great collaboration the idea was born to re-design the front area of the boat in such a way that individual needs could be accommodated”. Luxury, comfort and green credentials. Top marks all round.

Inside the boats, a height adjustable table turns into a solid foundation for the generous lounge area or can completely disappear inside the boat's frame with just the touch of a button. The driving seats are 360° degree variable and the design of the interior is adapted to match the requirements of a powerful and racy boat.

For the first time real waterproof leather was used for the upholstery and our favourite part? When the boat reaches high speeds, the wind protection shield automatically elevates to offer additional cover for the driver leaving hair styles intact for when approaching shore.
