You may have heard the name, Alice Eve, melodic, short and almost as sweet as she is. But who is this brainy English blond bombshell?
Alice is born of eminent acting stock, her Father Trevor Eve, an award winning tv and theatre actor, and Sharon Maughan, a Welsh television actress. As well as coming from a talented background, Eve’s academic progresses are also noteworthy. She attended Beadles, a well-respected boarding school in the UK and then did her A-levels at Westminster School in London. Alice read English at St Catherine’s college in Oxford.
Her thespian credentials are also of some importance. During her gap year after school and before Oxford, Alice attended the Beverly Hills Playhouse, which boasts alumni of the magnitude of George Clooney, Michelle Pfeiffer, and the late Patrick Swayze to name a few. While at university she appeared in numerous college productions such as An Ideal Husband, Animal Crackers, which toured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and The Colour of Justice.
After she graduated her career started from the mother ship for many British actors: the BBC. Alice appeared in The Rotter’s Club, Poirot and Hawking in 2004 as well as the De Niro produced movie Stage Beauty. While in 2006 she took part in three movies Starter for 10 and Big Nothing.

In 2011 Alice hit the big time by playing a part in Sex and the City 2, and the lead in teen rom-com She’s out of my League. While in 2012 she appeared in The Raven along with another Swide favourite British hunk Oliver Jackson Cohen.
Amongst ther upcoming projects, Alice is set to appear as a young Emma Thomspon in MIB III and it is rumoured she is up against another English beauty: Rosamund Pike for the role of Lois Lane in the forthcoming Superman remake.
Alice Eve has earned some fans here in Swide, and we can’t wait to see what this green-blue (she has different colour eyes) starlet will get up to next.
