Ah, life as an ingenue. Hollywood's new it crew gets the Bruce Weber treatment this month. Swide travels first class to L.A to discover the future cheekbones and talent...
Featured above is Alia Shawkat, only 20 she's learnt to play bass for the upcoming biopic The Runaways, in which she stars as a teen punk rocker opposite Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning. Already on the receiving end of red-carpet treatment she poses alongside Hollywood's other hot young property - Lucas Till (the love interest in Hannah Montana: The Movie) in a D&G fall/winter dress.

Featured above is Asher Book who is set to play Marco in the big-screen remake of eighties movie-musical Fame. The 21-year-old who got his start at seven playing Chip in a touring production of Beauty and the Beast also plays in a band, V Factory, who have recorded their debut album, and toured this summer. Check out his MySpace page here .

Sara Paxton is set to star in CW's buzzed-about drama The Beautiful Life, costarring Mischa Barton. That would put Sara, 21, in sync with her character, the mysterious beauty Raina, who hovers on the precipice of runway superstardom.
