Actors Francesco Scianna, Brenno Placido, Flavio Parenti, Carmine Recano and Gianmarco Tognazzi are at the centre of these shots full of Italian beauty and romance, supported by the statuesque beauty of Bianca Brandolini D’Adda and the Sicilian cityscapes.
The dream team Mariano Vivanco and Dolce&Gabbana were reunited for the FW13 Menswear campaign shot in Taormina, Sicily. The beauty and gentility of the Dolce&Gabbana’s collection mixed in with the Italian charm of the actors and Bianca, the empathic normality of the people, set in the historic streets of Taormina and captured by Vivanco’s lens make for unique shots.
A wedding is the setting of the story of the campaign. Family, love, conviviality and celebration are at the centre of the inspiration, maybe even more than the clothes. These values, so close to Dolce&Gabbana, bounce off the page and contextualize the beautiful fashion in an environment known to all Italians.
