There is something inherently sensual about flowing silk. It touches the skin like a longing caress by a lover, it sensually flows in the wind, organically and almost musically, like a perfectly attuned couple. The sensual and the fun elements of silk have been captured by Giampaolo Sgura in the D&G SS12 campaign.

In the video of the advertisement campaign, directed by Giampaolo Sgura, the passion which takes over the young models gives goose bumps. The movement of the foulard print dresses is mimicked by the svelte figures of Samantha Gradoville, Valerija Sestic and Patrycia Gardygailo. Their long locks flow wildly in the wind, and passions rise in the embraces of Simone Nobili and Alfred Kovac. The D&G SS12 collection is just that, youth, fun and sexy.

Take a leaf out of D&G’s book this summer and lay back, relax and loose yourself in a foulard-clad embrace.
