I feel so energetic I climbed up a tree during my lunch break. It must be all of those Time to Detox drinks. It’s Tuesday and I am uncovering my into the wild side.
Uncovering the wild side of Detox
Nuts, cereals, lentils and unspecified beneficial plants. Whatever, it’s been a week!
Meet my lunch….
Facto number UNO: I still feel full all the time. To which I start to ask myself if everything I used to eat before didn’t somehow addict me to food?! Does the food industry do this on purpose? Will I go vegan after such a deep experience? Will I quit smoking? Will I stop eating mozzarella?
Facto number Two: I fall asleep early as a bird. Granted I am not scheduling anything on my social calendar, and thank god I have a boyfriend or I would have had a complete detox away from anything remotely fun.
Facto number Three: They say I look radiant. Ok I admit, my skin looks good, I feel light, and my hair is not dying on my hairbrush like it used to.
The miraculous Chapati snack….
Facto number Four: I have to be honest, I have been counting each minute of this agony, yes I have come up with deep conclusions on my lifestyle, and I still have a few days to go. The smell of cigarettes is making me nauseous, and it wouldn’t cross my mind to eat a steak after this 10 day detox plan. But don’t think it’s getting any easier, it’s like a total fight inside my brain. Cheerleaders jumping around shouting: don’t give up you are almost there! The temptress devil poking me with wine on a stick (I made that up) saying: No one will know just take a sip!
I will make it.
