Just before the Spring Summer 2013 womenswear fashion show in September we invited top fashion bloggers to the Dolce&Gabbana press showroom, and here’s what happened.
Dolce&Gabbana have an unprecedented good relationship with the blogging sphere, steeped within the brand’s tradition of innovation and even breaking boundaries. In September, Dolce&Gabbana have let loose some of the world’s best-known bloggers in their showroom.
This
Australian blogger is one of the most followed around the globe. A statuesque
figure, good taste and a wardrobe overflowing with beautiful clothes make her
blog an infinite source of inspiration for her followers. Jessica wore to the
fashion show a tapestry print jersey bodycon shift dress. Very
Dolce&Gabbana, but also very her.
Denni,
with her soft features, emphatically made up is the web’s “chic muse”. Just over
20 and of South American origin, Californian by adoption and now living in
Paris, Denni achieved iconic status on the web in a short period of time. She’s
eclectic and at times over the top, but as her blog states, always chic. Denni
chose a delicate putti print dress with full skirt and white lace ruffle details
for the Spring Summer 2013 fashion show.
Tina
Leung traded in her studies in drama and film for fashion styling and hasn’t
looked back since. Now a freelance stylist, and blogger, in her blog she ranges
from fashion shoot images to moodboards and portraits of herself, always true to
her style. Her oriental roots are delicately accentuated with her keen eye for
the trends of the old world. Her strong and idiosyncratic style is a perfect
marriage with Dolce&Gabbana where she creates an up to the minute mix and
match. For the Spring Summer 2013 Fashion Show, Tina chose a cross-stitch print
rose jersey dress with a bow detail turtleneck.
She’s
a Norwegian with a strong passion for fashion. She switches from a pop look to
more romantic guises with extreme effortlessness, always maintaining the common
denominator which characterizes her style: extravagance. Her fiery mane and doll
like features allow her to interpret the Dolce&Gabbana look with a new, and
totally personal edge. For the Spring Summer 2013 fashion show, Ulrike wore a
classic satin leopard print bodysuit and mix and matched it with a floral pencil
skirt.
