As we all know those who work in the fashion business tend to fashion obsessed but what you may not be aware of if how these seasonal obsessions go way beyond shoes.
Leaving and breathing one’s job is normal when you work in glamourville. Being the first to tout the season’s new bag is usually the sure fire way to exhibit your prowess but that was until the spring 2010 womenswear shows hit home.
Like the rest of the world hit by the ongoing economic crisis ('cutting expenses' is how we term it in the industry) even mere fashionistas are forced to work that bit harder to keep up the fashion front.

With our own Mr.D and Mr.G showing Tango dresses for spring and Karl Lagerfeld rumoured to be in Argentina teaching Claudia Schiffer the tango as we speak for Chanel’s forthcoming ad campaign – it appears it’s simply not enough run off with an Argentinean polo player to count yourself a 2010 trend-leader.
As such, the race is on in the office to yes, you may have guessed it, to impress by dropping into conversation, that you are in fact a proficient tango dancer. All but one of my colleagues have already signed up for an evening course - sadly we're all running a bit low on available partners.
