Dolce & Gabbana showcase a 360 degree show

Dolce & Gabbana upped the ante for their latest SS10 show, streaming backstage action simultaneously on Fashion TV and direct to their catwalk show guests. Fashion's new democracy?

For the first time in their show history designers Dolce & Gabbana, changed the catwalk rules, streaming live all aspects of a catwalk show. From last minute adjustments such as those being made by Domenico Dolce (below), to guests arriving at the show's venue,The Metropol, fashion press greeting Stefano Gabbana, make-up artist Pat McGrath and hairstylist Eugene Souleimann at work, and the general pandemonium that is ‘backstage’.

These unique insights completed a week of online innovation for the designers who offered the internet world a preview glimpse at their spring collection before its catwalk debut in a video online series entitled “Pre-Show Diaries”, uploading their usual pre-show press conference on Youtube, placing the industry's most influential bloggers front row and live twittering throughout the show.
