Every change of wardrobe requires a new entry: the one and only. The Must or I die item of the season. One is prone to think men are exempted from this ritual but no need to fish too far...
This Spring-Summer 2011 everything happens from the waist down. Maliciously talking, no matter which tie you will be wearing (yes black), or waist coat you will showing: your rendition of the classic beginning of past century look will be revised by one and only characteristic addition: the carrot fit. Larger atop and tighter below. The cuffed trousers: simple and refined. The shorts. Men are about to show what their silhouettes look like.
Various shades of basics: grey, white, black, to be associated with earthy tones.
Another detail from the waist down: cuffed trousers. Ankles must be shown. Simplicity and sun-touched fabrics are key.
Boyish shorts will make a great comeback: it's time to work out the leg muscles. Combined with a classic button-down, they only need an emblematic detail: the sailing cord tied as a belt.
Loose trousers pleated just above the hips: white and light. Easy and comfortable to move in.
The denim story: sun-touched and closer to the white variations. Ripped.
Longer shorts just above the knee: it's time to take the fish home.
