It seems that the “It” bag is edging its way back into fashion, and well, the status conscious amongst us are pretty pleased. Dolce&Gabbana though have two it bags: more for you to choose from! Here are their Fall Winter 2013 incarnations.
The Fall Winter 2013 collection was all about Romantic Baroque, opulent embroidery, rose cross-stitching, tapestry like needlepoint and well, pretty much everything baroque you could think of. As well as the richness of the details, the accessories all seemed to be modified too, and here are the new versions of our favourites for the Fall Winter 2013 season.
Nothing screams Dolce&Gabbana more than a Sicily bag, and the designers
know that. Is it still missing from your collection, well you’re still in time.
This
season we have the classic textured calf leather version and the hammered
deerskin, supple and luxurious.
A favourite here in the office is the leopard print pony skin version., Ever so
Dolce&Gabbana.
In an effort to streamline the generous proportions of the Sicily, a novelty for FW13 is the slim version. Somewhat elongated, it comes in three sizes: Large, medium and small.
The
metal hardware also changes colour, it ranges from gold, palladium and gold and
antiquated gold, which ties in perfectly with the baroque elements of the runway
collection.
The Dolce Bag underwent many transformations in the Fall Winter Collection. Inspired by the sensual forms of the woman, the bag is as chameleonic as its muse.
From
mix and matched with roses and leopard print to painstakingly hand embroidered,
the Dolce Bag represents the collection and its fans.
The Dolce Bag has also been updated for the Fall Winter season following the same lines as the Sicily. More elongated, almost wanting to resemble a men’s satchel, the Dolce Bag has changed shaped.
Still
maintaining its elegant feminine forms, the front flap is a bit longer while the
rotund shape is less obvious.
The
new versions of the Dolce Bag are available in the classic Dolce&Gabbana
leathers, hammered deerskin and textured calfskin, and of course the must have
leopard print pony skin.
