No longer just a shoe for the fashion loving set who want to be comfortable, Dolce & Gabbana sneakers have gone from strength to strength in terms of design, innovation and technology and have become the fashionable trainer for the trainer lover.

For SS12, the brand has added to their already vast roster of styles and re designed some of your most loved classics.

The Guatemala is the new sneaker for SS12. Court inspired, this cup-sole derby features a calfskin upper and perforated lining for ventilation. The overall fresh and clean look is further created with the debossed logo and lateral deco stitch. In a clear reference to the 70s, the high top version of the Guatemala is basketball inspired in a mix on nylon, calfskin and suede.

The Morocco line is the sleekest of the Dolce&Gabbana range of sneakers. It’s made in a rhombus shaped honeycomb suede and premium suede overlays. For a more retro look, the nylon and suede version is a summer must have. The new entry for SS12 is inspired by the fashion show collection, but in a clean way. Entirely made of perforated calfskin, a tribute to performance sport mesh.

Following Dolce&Gabbana’s new direction in terms of sneakers, the Malta is born. Inspired by the geometric and straight cut lines of men’s shirt collars, the sneaker features partially hidden laces and is made of premium calf skin with suede and cotton accents. The high top version is classy yet strong. This ultra worked trainer undergoes many treatments for the worn out vintage look, including hand brushing. And then luxury meets street. The skater inspired version of the Malta is a fashion oxymoron that crosses the skater park with Park Avenue.

The Venezuela was introduced a couple of seasons ago and it’s a real winner. Iconic and simple, the sneaker is made of premium calfskin with ample suede detailing for a hint of texture and preciousness.

One of the central designs of the Dolce&Gabbana sneaker range, the Australia is a best seller. For the SS12 season, it has been updated with luxurious hand made materials. The upper is made with hand weaved calfskin which contrasts with the definite sporty look and feel of the basic design.

For a unique casual look, the Germany trainer is entirely made of suede. The premium perforated suede matched to the plain version make the shoe a casual yet chic staple. The loafer inspired “inside-out” seam detailing is a fun contrast between casual and smart.

The high top Bolivia is a truly innovative sneaker by Dolce&Gabbana. It has a leather belt inserted into the bottom rubber mudguard which ends a more elegant look and feel to classic vulcanized shoes.
