Yuri’s Corner: I love Macramé

Fashion Editor Yuri Ahn has a love for macramé that is surpassed only by her love of leopard print. This week she styles some macramé based looks.

Macramé is an important fabric for Dolce&Gabbana, it’s a part of the brand’s DNA, representing both their Sicilian heritage and their love of handcrafted materials and traditions.

Lets start with a macramé lace pencil skirt with applications. It’s a stunning piece, elegant and timeless. Match it to a satin blouse with lace trim and a pretty cape detail. Match a short xiangao fur jacket with Kimono sleeves and then go all out with Capodimonte accessories. The sandals are show stopping, and so are my favourite bijoux, the necklace and earrings. Add some sparkle with a mini sequin bag.

For an elegant evening look, the low waist black and with macramé dress with full skirt is just perfect. Add the stretch tulle and gold embroidery boots and a beautiful crochet handbag. Make a statement with a beige Kalgan caped coat and black and gold tulle earrings.
