Fashion editor Yuri Ahn employs her styling prowess to fancy dress, well to dress fancily for Halloween.
Halloween is no longer a celebration aimed at children; people of all ages embrace the fun element of dressing up and revel in the deviant subtext of the holiday. Everyone at the moment is thinking of very personal outfits for the parties and events. Here are two ideas which are far from the traditional Halloween costume, yet dark enough to make you feel haunting!
At the basis of the looks lie two beautiful Dolce&Gabbana capes.
Opt for sweet and feminine pink lace top, its sexy and transparent. Perhaps make a statement with interesting lingerie. Wear the shirt with a pencil skirt with 3D effect laser cut flower applications. The piece de resistance is a black caped coat, a must have from the Fall Winter 2013 collections. For accessories, blood red pumps and a chic camel Dolce Bag are essential. Match Capodimonte ceramic inspired jewellery. Angels inspire this look, yet it maintains a modern twist with the very contemporary caped coat.
The
second look is also inspired by mixing and matching. Contrast the sweetness of
the
white
lace caped dress with a
floor
length cape, very Dracula! Remain in the Dolce&Gabbana FW13 mood with a
tapestry
print bag, perfect for sweets, in case you fancy going trick or treating.
Statement accessories are a must, so opt for
astrakhan
fur pumps and the
Capodimonte
inspired jewellery form the fashion show. I love the contrast of the dark
looking cape with the angelic white lace dress. And once the cape comes off,
well your underwear must make a statement too under the dress.
