Transformers 4 reveals yet another luxury car instalment on the side of the Autobots as the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, joins the cast in the fourth chapter in the Sci-fi franchise.
Transformers 4 lines up
It would seem the Transformers 4 is going all out luxury with the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, in glorious black mat hue, joining the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse in what could be the most expensive fleet of luxury car-robots yet.
While we will have to wait until next year to see the actual robot, pictures have not been released, the Aventador’s sharp angular exterior is sure to make it one of the most beautiful Transformers of all. It’s not yet confirmed if the Aventador will line up on the side of the Autobots or the Decepticons, but the bad-ass appearance as well as rip roaring 691-bhp, 6.5 litre V-12 engine would make it a great Decepticon.
Transformers 4 is expected to be a more serious sci-fi affair with none of the human characters from the previous movies appearing in this one. Mark Wahlberg is penciled in for the starring role, while the web is alive with rumours that Megan Fox and director Michael Bay have let bygones be bygones and may make an appearance, but that could just be fantasy on the part of the franchise’s legions of obsessive fans.
Famously named after a legendary Spanish fighting bull, the Aventador has some serious muscle, but also highly distinctive contour lines that are the signature of the brand. 100% made in Italy, but arriving from the future, the Aventador fits right in to the Transformers concept.
