Akthough orginally releases in 2007, The Swing Lamp, a concept by design firm BCXSY, is now available to buy again.
The lamp features as part of the design's firm PLAY collection alongside other innovative pieces as a SEE SAW bookshelf and NOISY furniture.
The Swing Lamp creates a comforting ambiance through light and movement and is now available as a part of the company's SLIDE collection.
The company which is a joint endeavor by designers Boaz Cohen and Saya Yamamoto has produced an acrylic-glass seat (a bit like plexiglass), which is then lit by LEDs.
Whether its location is a patio/terrace/living room or office - it's certainly a piece that will ensure you take a minute every day to indulge in a childish moment of reflection.
Try recreating Vanessa Paradis' famous bird in a cage advert if you're feeling especially adventurous.
The lamp can be bought via the SLIDE collection - a collection of products that all incorpate light sources as part of their design.
