Wild Fitness
Much as you may enjoy laying on a massage table, Gisele's thighs will never be your's without a little bit of effort.
Wildfitness is a fitness and beauty retreat based in both Kenya and Greece that believes when one takes an animal out of its environment, it will suffer mentally, physically and spiritually. Put an animal back into its natural environment and it will heal and thrive. This is the basis of the Wildfitness approach and the inspiration for their fitness holidays. The programme takes you as their animal (we're sure it's not the first time you've been called an animal honey) and helps you re-discover your natural physical potential as well as getting lean, strong, pain-free and buzzing with raw energy – just as you are designed to be. Your inner-Gisele really is waiting to be released.
Whatever your age or fitness level our expert coaches will give you the foundation for true, natural fitness by focusing on three key areas -
Wild Movement: Learn about proper technique as a way to prevent and heal injuries and feel the grace of movement all in a fun, outdoor, adventurous and inclusive way - yes we too are suspicious of this sentence usually, but three words - The Indian Ocean.
Wild Eating: Eat light, energised, and lean food and notice symptoms from dry skin to IBS clearing up by eating the diet your "species thrives on" with delicious, raw, organic produce based on two menus - the "Primate Menu" or the "Hunter Gatherer Menu". Try finding that in Nobu.
Wild Living: Plenty of time to sleep, chill out, play, breath, bond and be with nature.
Don't worry however if this all sounds a little too hippy-fied, we would never recommend a programme with the right accommodation. Wildfitness Kenya guests stay in the elegant and luxurious Baraka House on the north coast of Kenya near Watamu, a designated UN area of outstanding natural beauty all with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and dazzlingly white sand.
It may be time to release your house-trained self into a wild animal again.
