Shy Child gets disco-connected
After a three year hiatus, Brooklyn Duo, Shy Child has returned bringing us more electro-filled tracks and debuted a new video sure to take you back to the electrifying 80s.
Shy Child is a band from New York consisting of Pete Cafarella on both vocals and keytar, and Nate Smith on drums. The band is no stranger to the music industry having had 3 successful albums prior to the release of their latest, “Liquid Love”. Even though Shy Child won’t be releasing Liquid Love until March 15th, 2010, that doesn’t mean they haven’t given us something to dance to. Criss Cross, a track off their upcoming album is available for download on the band’s site and they’ve just premiered a new music video, “Disconnected”. Their new video is a wonderful depiction of the band’s sound: 80s electro-pop.“Disconnected” seems like a scene straight out 80’s film, “St.Elmo’s Fire”. The video is truly disco-connected, in every sense of the word.
