Kitten Super Heroes

| posted Apr 22, 2009

Happy Design Week!! Kicking off today in Milan (well officially anyway) Swide continues on the Milan Design Week trail. Much as we love spotting a new lamp or a bookcase or coffee table - what we also love about this week is the random and the kitsch. Purr here...

We thought you'd be pleased to hear the news that "The Sparkling Kitten Super Heroes" have arrived in Milan. Yes, straight from a "Crystal Galaxy" far away, the Kitty cats are here to banish the grey (and believe us Milan needs this right now. Rain? April??!!) and show the city's Salone Del Mobile what they're made of (cashmere as it happens).

Kikka&Kitten's new micro collection of "Sparkling Kittens" is being premiered this week and we're intrigued.

Produced from a combination of precious materials, Made In Italy cashmere, Swarovski crystals - the cats are finished with a pop colour-palette.

As the "Sparkling Super Heroes" have crossed the galaxy to be here in Milan, they've quite rightly befriended a guide-in-the-know, iconic Italian hat-maker Borsalino to help them achieve iconic status.

The cult hat brand which has dressed Hollywood's heads for years intends to assist the Kitta&Kittens (we're not making this up, keep reading...please) with their Hollywood dream. With a new collection entitled "Kikka&Kitten Goes to Hollywood with Borsalino" - the cats look destined for big things.

See the Kikka&Kitten exhibition from April 22nd - April 27th at SUPERSTUDIO PIU’ @ Hidden Heroes V. Tortona 27 - GATTIFICIO - V. Savona 97 int D23, Milan.
