Keira Knightley by Mario Testino in Dolce&Gabbana for Vogue UK

Posted Jan 4, 2011

Mario Testino works his magical talent this time for Vogue UK's January 2011 cover. Keira Knightley, looking fresh in a Dolce&Gabbana dress, talks about her new film 'Never Let Me Go'.

The rather intesting interview touches many different subjects from paparazzis to fame that came at a young age. She confesses to Vogue UK: '‘I think I intended not to work again. I wasn’t enjoying what I was doing and I felt terribly guilty about that. I remember hating the idea that I was in a privileged position and couldn’t see the point of any of it. I had worked solidly since I was 16, till 22, and I had not been on holiday in all of that time. I didn’t know if I was going to go back to acting at all. I think for a long time I thought I wouldn’t.’

Her new film, on the other hand, is an adaptation of  Kazuo Ishiguro's novel of the same title: 'Never Let Me Go'. Although Knightley wasn't convinced about the idea of returning to acting, she accepted the project because the co-star Carey Mulligan insisted on it. The preview can be seen here:
