Why don't you...?(Harper's Bazaar U.K April 09)
Legendary Fashion Editor Diana Vreeland introduced the colourful "Why Don't You?" column into Harper's Bazaar US in August of 1936. Her original ideas included "Why don't you...Turn your child into an Infanta for a fancy-dress party?" or "Why don't you own, as does one extremely smart woman, twelve diamond roses of all sizes?" Her ideas revealed not only her style prowess but also her colourful, energetic and dynamic personality.
For April - designers Dolce & Gabbana have revealed their inspiring ideas in the UK issue of "Why don't you...?"
Ideas include buying a copy of their friend Dennis Hopper's new photography book, learning pilates, buying a new lipstick from the new Dolce & Gabbana make-up collection or checking out London's new Saatchi gallery.
