Posted Jun 10, 2009

The scene is the Pink Suite at Paris' legendary Plaza Athénée hotel. GQ's subjects are the "diverse twins" and inseparable friends, designers Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana.

"One adores black and white, the other Caravaggio. One is serious, the other loves smiling. One considers himself to be wise, the other not."

"Men of today are more egotistical - they don't want to pay for everything"

"When I think of the men of today, I think of someone masculine and sporty like David Beckham"

"We're very different. If you saw our apartments you'd spot the differences instantly. He (Domenico Dolce) is black and white, very precise. He has a sense of the future. I'm more like this room (the Pink Suite at Plaza Athénée)
