Recently appointed Accessories Director at Marie Claire US, Kyle Anderson is entrusted with renewing the accessories pages on the magazine. In light of his visionary approach to fashion, Swide caught up with him in the lead up to the Dolce&Gabbana SS12 Catwalk show. In the interview, Kyle summarizes the key trends for bags and shoes for the summer season, as well as musing on his persona and the importance of social networking in his career.

The mood at the men’s shows was almost oxymoronic to the times. Luxury was the buzzword for the season. Exquisitely crafted suits, tailored coats, fur, cashmere and couture like detailing such as gold thread embroidery made a stark contrast the sombre economic mood.
The Christmas trees are decorated, sumptuously wrapped gifts are piling up under said trees, the Nativity Scenes have taken pride of place in the house, and the party season is in full swing. Christmas is at the door, and here at Swide we’re already planning our outfits for New Year’s Eve…
