The moving show of a piano and the sun

A show dense of emotions. A black curtain opened on Annie Lennox sitting at the piano. The Dolce&Gabbana SS11 menswear collection started accompanied by the voice and the tunes of the artist. A sunny and overwhelming sensuality took the stage. Silks, linen, cotton popeline and very light weaves. Jute. Raw canvas. Suits in the colours of the sand, beige, and light brown. Sensuality deeply rooted in traditions. A soft sense of comfort. White is faded away by the sun turning almost into yellow. Black is reddened. Blinding rays of light and definite shadows. Contrasting colours of summer remind us of Southern Italy and the heat. A slow pace and the piano. The chills and final tears as the curtain closes on Mrs Lennox’ beat, all the guys dressed in black suits, and the designers. Stop.
