It's not often you get to opportunity to listen to the inspirations behind a collection from the designers themselves, however in this unique and exclusive video Swide reveals how to get next season's sexy cowgirl look direct from the designers Dolce & Gabbana.
Watch above as Stefano & Domenico reveal why this is no ordinary cowgirl (she has British eyes for a start), the influence of cult fashion & documentary photographer Corinne Day (who most famously shot Kate Moss in those now iconic 3rd Summer of Love editorials for the Face magazine in 1990) and why Minnie Mouse has left Mickey Mouse for a ranch in Texas.

Duelling is an art form that was once part of everyday life in Milan and all over Europe swords were carried as a matter of habit. But the art has all but died out in recent times, all that remains is the sport of Olympic fencing. However a small group of enthusiasts are spearheading a revival and through their passion, keeping the techniques of duelling alive. Swide’s Hugo Mc Cafferty was invited to watch them train.
