‘Latin’ was Dolce & Gabbana’s starting point, which produced slick masculine, suits worn with velvet loafers, lashings of black lace, and their signature piece – the corset.
Crochet made in an appearance in those sultry and sensual colours, black and white. Lace and net were used over and under dresses creating a sexy transparent feel, whilst silky fringes offered modern touches.
Hot red and baby blue leopard prints were mix and matched with silk floral prints in new flirty proportions.
The show’s finale was a showcase to Dolce & Gabbana’s heritage – the corset. Designed in a variety of fabrics, it’s the sexy investment piece to last a lifetime.
In terms of accessories, the designers previewed their ‘Miss Sicily’ bag in the season’s crochet and leopard print fabrics as well as adding a new shape – the tote bag to their accessories line-up.
Shoes also played with the season’s fabrics – net and lace, giving heels that ‘Latino Tango’ look.
