When D&G set sail on its SS09 nautical journey (read more about the journey at (www.swide.com/luxury-magazine/en/Style/Moodboard) the designers made - just as we like to do - an accessory stop en-route.
What they discovered on island style was a range of pop bright acessories. Layers of bead necklaces, oversized sunglasses, cube bracelets, and corsages in a variety of brights.
Next season, if you want to look ship-shape and sail ahead of the others - your must-have is a D&G bright accessory.

Duelling is an art form that was once part of everyday life in Milan and all over Europe swords were carried as a matter of habit. But the art has all but died out in recent times, all that remains is the sport of Olympic fencing. However a small group of enthusiasts are spearheading a revival and through their passion, keeping the techniques of duelling alive. Swide’s Hugo Mc Cafferty was invited to watch them train.
