Don’t let the word Dandy scare you. If you are a man who places particular importance upon physical appearance, refined language, and leisurely hobbies, you fit in this “bag”. A hint of snobbism has never hurt anyone, and there is hardly anything bad in wanting to be different. Please, who wants to be like anyone else? To prove your point to the crowds, please take note, you will need: Le Bateleur by D&G (just because one is at the beach doesn’t mean they have to smell like sun tan), a luxurious book by Assouline, The Proust Questionnaire, eccentric loafers by D&G complete of a stylish shoe-polish case, and glasses/sunglasses. What does it mean to be cool. Honestly if you are asking yourself this question, you don’t belong to this beach bag. Coolness doesn’t just mean your blood temperature is low, it’s a way of being au naturel without trying too hard. Or not at all. Cool people are just cool, and we all know it. Why else would they bring their cricket bats to a Greek island? Read, read, read, Nick Hornby, and this summer’s cool-seller How to be Good. A word of advice, if you are planning on raising your degree of coolness this summer do accessorize properly: D&G all the way, the check sneakers, the jean bag, the funky blue aviator sunglasses. Capito?

Beach Businessman

No time to waste. Now is always a good time to make money and build another skyscraper. The stock-market will not go on vacation, will it? Mr. Beach Business knows he can do it: relax and work at the same time. Especially if relaxing involves personal advancement or winning. When he is not concentrated on his iPad, which he carefully puts away in a stylish Dolce&Gabbana iPad case, he is screening the poolside for potential backgammon competitors, actually he organizes the whole tournament himself. You shouldn’t be asked to carry a bag unless it’s sporty, we know, but mix leather with nylon, there you go: your perfect bag. Mr. Fitness travels light in any case. To tame his body obsession, this summer his reading list includes The end of overeating by David A. Kessler, and we can’t help but wonder: when did he ever overeat? We are sure he is recording his calorie intake on his iPad, safe in a Dolce&Gabbana leather case. Mr. Fitness, just one question for you: which team are you a supporter of? The flag on your shorts, sneakers, and sunglasses by Dolce&Gabbana, speaks clearly.
