The Dolce&Gabbana SS12 collection was inspired by the 50s aesthetic and the concept of old style Italian beauties. It did however also include a fun, almost irreverent element to the collection. This can be mainly ascertained in the prints, but also certain looks: in particular the new concept of the suit.
