Paolo's
very particular. I mean, I met him last summer as I was enjoying my holiday in
Portofino with my girlfriend. He was very laid-back, cool and easy to talk to.
He seemed like a decent guy to us. As he was in the city for work that day, he
was feeling lonely so we invited him out for dinner.
We
still remember all the details of his outfit. Sportive linen jacket, poplin
shirt, nice cotton shorts, chic belt, woven shoes without any lace... It was a
to-die-for outfit with the sun shining like never before in the background and
the Portofino sky as blue as a perfect sapphire.
He
never took off his glasses though, it seemed like he wanted to keep his
mysterious attitude. I admit that it was kind of awkward to dine with him in a
restaurant where he would refuse not to take his shades off.
As
we were talking, he seemed quite interested in how wonderful a couple we were so
he asked: 'I'm a very good guy, I have a house in Como Lake and a lovely yacht.
I love sailing, fishing, dancing on the beach... I hate one night stands and I
hope to settle down with a perfect someone as soon as possible because I am
quite bored of searching... Don't you have any friends to introduce me to?'
We
were like... Um... You know, in an awkard silence. I mean we barely knew the
guy. Ok he met the requirements of many girls in the world: chic outfit, nice
hairdo, lots of money, cool attitude, friendly personality and so on... Yet
introducing a stranger to a close friend... No, not really our cup of tea.
So,
working for Dolce&Gabbana, I said maybe I could introduce him to YOU, Swide

We
loved his shoes as well. He changed them for the night. It was very special,
