- Cervinia, Italy

Cervinia is a place to be during the Winter, with many ski areas. The ski tourism, here in Breuil-Cervinia (breuil is the original French name), starts in 1800. This area features a giant ski system called Matterhorn Ski Paradise (2000-3500 meters) at Cervino’s foot, a mount situated in the Central Alps, between Italy and Switzerland, along the Pennine Alps. Choose Hotel Hermitage for a luxury experience, with a Spa by La Prairie and a delicious restaurant, La Chandelle, which offers a menu with seasonal ingredients. The Hotel has gained the nomination of Best Charming Hotel in Europe. The final nomination will be held in Paris on November 14th 2011.

- Courmayeur, Italy

Situated in Valle d'Aosta, Italy, Courmayeur is indissolubly linked to Montebianco, a mountain situated between Valle d'Aosta (Val Veny and Val Ferret in Italy) and the Haute Savoy (Valle dell'Arve in France). It's the highest point of both Italy and France, the highest mountain in Europe and of all Alps. Courmayeur is at 1224 meters of altitude, at Montebianco’s foot. Since '800 it has been the capital of alpinism and hiking, as well as a thermal area. Among the point of interest, La Saxe is famous for its natural spring waters, Dolonne was one of the first ski systems in Valle d'Aosta. -  Madonna di Campiglio, Italy

- Bormio, Italy

Bormio is located in Alta Valtellina, Italy, at an altitude of 1225 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Stelvio Pass, and is one of the most attractive holiday destination of the Italian Alps. The town is beautiful and offers many places to stay, but there is a special one: Bagni Nuovi Bormio. - Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy

Cortina d'Ampezzo is in Belluno provence, Veneto, Italy, and lays at the center of Conca d'Ampezzo. It is surrounded by the beautiful Ampezzane Dolomits (declared World Heritage Site, one of the most beautiful places on Earth among 189). Both names - Cortina and Ampezzo - have latin origins. The first one means "court", a medieval pertinency to a stronghold, and the second one means "close to the pine". 100 km of ski routes are available, and if you don't feel like skiing, there are many interesting architectures to visit in town (churches and castles). One of the jewels of Cortina is Grand Hotel Savoia, situated in the heart of Cortina. Opened in 1900, it has 117 rooms and 5 suites, together with a Spa of 750 m.

- Aspen, Colorado, United States

Are you looking for the most luxurious ski experience? Pick Aspen, Colorado. Founded as a mining camp, it was called Aspen after a special kind of tree to be found in abundance in the area. - Baqueira Beret, Spain

From Cap de Baqueira (2500 m) you can see the beautiful Pyrenees. Baqueira Beret, (Aran Valley, Lleida, Catalunya, Spain) is the largest Winter resort in the Spanish Pyrenees, with 110km of marked trails and 7km of cross-country ski. It is one of the best ski resorts in Spain and is the favorite of the Spanish Royal Family. Where to stay to enjoy such Paradise?
