Luxury Living... in a Desert?

The design project by super luxury company Oppenheim Architecture + Design will have even those who avoid the heat begging for the chance to stay there. What is it I speak of? It is a competition-winning design for accomodation like no other. It is a luxury desert lodge is situated in the Wadi Rum (no not a fancy cocktail but a desert in Jordan) and as you can see it is a sublime concept:
Through seamless production, the Oppenheim Wadi Rum lodge appears part of the landscape; the geometric shaped structures cut out from the topography and offers spectacular views of the Southern Jordan desert. Using the natural faults and fissures of the land, the space is intentionally reduced to what is essential and appears as one with the surroundings. Surely things can not be more luxuirous? Infact, Oppenheim haven’t given us just one concept to lust after, no, as they have a Spa Lodge, Tent Lodge and Reserve Villa:
Connecting man and nature by embracing the landscape and crafting a space that blurs the boundaries of man-mand and natural elements, the project aims to establish a new benchmark for design, sustainability and quality. In a world where humans is relying on technology and gadgets to function maybe taking a break and getting back to basics is what we all need. Oppenheim Architecture + Design have created a concept that only dreams are made and one that I intend to indulge in.
