Leave James Bond alone to simmer

Posted Nov 28, 2008

Much as James Bond was November's cinema moment - December is time for a more cultural film exchange at the India International film festival. Take a peek at what will be next year's cult film.

India's oldest and most prestigious Film Festival runs until December 5th - featuring films by directors from Asia, Africa and Latin America. Categories include cinema of the world, retrospective, tribute, focus, Indian panorama, mainstream Indian cinema, and finally a "film bazaar", a smart initiative aimed at promoting and selling Indian films.

Held annually since 1952, The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is a ten-to-eleven day film festival organised by the Indian Directorate of Film Festivals and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and is globally recognised by the International Federation of Film Producers’ Associations (FIAPF).
