A cool L.A face-lift

In a space above the Avalon nightclub is L.A's new late night bar - Club Bardot.
It's sexy and cosy - dimly lit, paintings on the walls, chandeliers, and cosy banquettes with food from Jared Simons. However it's the cocktail list that has us particularly excited. There is nothing better than a cocktail list that sounds incredibly h-e-a-l-t-h-y, yet at the same time offers drinks reassuringly strong.
Mix and Muddle Mojitos - sound so frivilously light- we're bound to have more than a couple. "The Grande Trio of Champagne" - suggests our usual Moet & Chandon with carafes of either chambord & citrus vodka, peach schnapps and raspberry vodka (goodnight) or our particular favourite, St. Germain Elderflower liqueur and Grapefruit vodka. Alternatively if you're really intent on pretending to only drink fruit juice - bottles of tequila are offered with accompanying bottles of either peach juice, pomegranate mix, banana, papaya or mango.
The beauty of L.A that's all we can say.
