Five tips for wearing multiple bracelets
Magazine
spreads can make wearing multiple bracelets look effortless and simple. In real
life, however, bracelet organization can be tricky. How does one configure them?
Can you pair thick bangles with thin ones? It can look awkward when one or
several bracelets slide around each other, and you are left with a giant clunk
of metal around your wrist- leaving none of your jewelry visible.
Here are some of my tips
for how to wear several bracelets.
1.
Opt for asymmetry: wear a different number of bracelets or bangles on each
wrist. I opted to wear four on my left wrist, and just one on my right in the
above photo.
2.
Work with the shapes of the bracelets when deciding which to wear together. For
examble, it may not work to pair a large cuff with lots of thin woven bracelets
or bangles, as the smaller bracelets will get caught inside of the cuff.
3.
With small and thin bracelets, pile them on. In the case of these bracelets,
more is more.
4.
Mix metals with fabric: a medium sized metal cuff works well with fabric
bracelets tied underneath it. Or wear a wide beaded bracelet with several thin
metal bangles.
5. Look into duplicates: large matching metal cuffs on either wrist can look amazing.
