Following a multi-million Dollar renovation, The Betsy Hotel - a South Beach architectural landmark is about to re-open.
The hotel's theme is understated elegance and sophistication - its 62 rooms and suites have rich dark-wood elements infusing an easy modern formality with its historical façade - stunning, inviting, welcoming and warm. The exact words we use to describe ourselves.
At the poolside, chilled face towels and frozen fruit help beat the heat and for guests who prefer to dip into the waters of the Atlantic, beach butlers are at the ready to provide lounge chairs, towels and umbrellas to make the sun and surf experience carefree. With sweeping views of the ocean and Miami Beach, The Betsy Hotel’s roof deck boasts a lavish solarium with private spa cabanas for personalized treatments and the ideal location to enjoy the sunset.
The hotel also has the private "B-4 Lounge" with hidden entrance, and a restaurant headed by NYC award winning Chef and restaurateur, Laurent Touronde who brings his iconic modern American steakhouse BLT to the hotel. The eightyeight-seat restaurant and Ocean Drive front patio will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Betsy Hotel is located on Ocean Drive and 14th Place and is a member of Small Luxury Hotels.
The Miami Art Basel runs from the 4th-7th of December 2008.
