What's your insipiration behind the Karton Chair?
I was inspired by Normandy (France) and cardboard boxes. I try to make comfortable furniture that also has a sense of humour. I like to think of my pieces as "useful jokes" - but the jokes are perhaps more emotional and not just funny to one person!
What's the best thing you've ever received in a box?
On my last Birthday I received a huge Box full of oranges - That was pretty cool . . . I love oranges :)
And Cigarettes :)
The first thing you ever made?
My first piece of design furniture that I made was the Xbein Desk. I made some stuff of course before but in my eyes, this was my first "design product".
What are your favourite design blogs?
I'm trying to stop wasting all my time with design blogs but I like fffound.
What's next for you?
Who knows ? I'm just tryin' to move forward and not to stop doin' what i'm doin.
