Take Taylor Lautner home with you

Twilight characters Edward Cullen and Bella Swan dolls came first, but with the other-world getting hot under their gothic collars for fellow Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner who plays Jason Black in the hit franchise films - it's time for his moment in the mould (so to speak). Mattel is releasing a Jacob doll in February complete with six pack to coincide with New Moon's DVD launch. In doll-form Taylor has traded his real-life D&G suits for cut-off denims as he prepares to turn from teenage boy to werewolf.
It's not the first time Mattel have opted to turn a star into a doll. Only last month they announced their new collection - "Ladies of the 80's Dolls" - that feature the (now) unrecognizable faces of Joan Jett, Cyndi Lauper and Debbie Harry.

In a bizarre twist - both Mattel muses - Taylor Lautner and Joan Jett were spotted last week in New York at the New Moon New York screening hosted by The Cinema Society and D&G. We would have loved to have been a fly on their wall to hear the two stars compare notes on the merits of their namesake dolls.
Artist Joan Jett featured arriving at last week's New Moon after party at The Box, New York. Taylor's Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart is set to play Joan in a forthcoming film about her life.
Joan Jett has been immortalized as a doll by toymakers Mattel.
