Speak to the hand
iLane is a portable device that lets you control your phone using simple voice commands. For hands-free use in a car - iLane verbally notifies you when new emails arrive. If you constantly feel as if you're on a hamster wheel spending your mornings hitting "send" - this could be your get-a-life solution.
The service runs like this...
iLane notifies you that "you have 18 email messages".
You then reply "read message one".
After listening to the message you then have the option to either reply, fwd, call or delete. If you select "call", it automatically connects to the sender or if you wish to respond to an email simply say "reply" and compose your response by speaking aloud. iLane hears you, and your message is sent to the recipient from your phone.

We're wondering here at Swide if we can use iLane on our bikes? Answers on a postcard...
