Robsessed: 2009 the year of the documentary

Posted Nov 17, 2009

New documentary Robsessed out now on DVD claims to access all areas of actor Robert Pattinson's life and although previews of the 70-minute film don't exactly live up to its hype it does ensure 2009 ends with a documentary bang.

Proving 2009 is most definitely about the documentary - we've had 'The September Issue', 'Valentino: The Last Emperor' (strictly speaking a 2008 release but only just making its way over to Europe now thanks to is DVD release) and Michael Moore's, 'Capitalism' to name but a few (Also see The Cove and End Of The Line about over fishing).

Twilight actor Robert Pattinson: Would you really want to be in his shoes?

As we appear to be intent on looking behind the scenes at everything and everyone this season - we've seen American Vogue Editor Anna Wintour putting together a September issue of Vogue (and then tear it all down and start again), we’ve gawped at designer Valentino Garavani and partner Giancarlo Giammetti preparing Valentino's 2006 Spring/Summer Collection in Paris, cheered on Michael Moore and his crusade against the banks - and now it's time to see Twilight fans (truly a 2009 phenomenon) go crazy in pursuit of their idol.
