The Red Light Design Event will mix the erotic and sensual with a twist of irony demonstrate how sensuality, seduction and eroticism drive human impulses and how designers and leading manufacturers use this stimulating world in their own creations.
Designers including Tom Dixon, Karim Rashid, Richard Hutten, Fulvia Mendini, and Michael Young, amongst others will aim to show how a design object can be inspired by an impulse strictly connected to intimacy, how it can become a public object and how the same object can then reclaim its private, personal world when used.
Stimulating design in every sense of the word...
