Pharrell William's Brooklyn machine
The "Gangsta Track" from Pharrell Williams' bicycle company Brooklyn Machine Works is the bike on the streets of London, Tokyo, and the back alleys of NYC. Kanye West was given an exclusive glow in the dark version of the bike when he was touring earlier this year and Pharrell has been snapped in his Billionaire Boys Club offices riding the new Gangsta Track model. Take a peek at www.thesbdaily.blogspot.com.
The idea for the original Gangsta started over a decade ago inspired by a 1970s English track bike. The design concept combines a frame that maintains the handling of traditional track geometry, but without the normal pitfalls of toe overlap and low speed over steer - plus its tough enough to race and work on seven days a week.
Whatever changes the ubiquitous scenes of bicycles with wicker baskets gets our vote.
