India's most famous electric car maker

Posted Jan 13, 2009

Is it just us or does this little electric car look a bit like a London cab? The Reva not only looks good - but now its European owners can turn them into lithium battery powered machines.

What we'd like as well to get us through the winter - faster acceleration, shorter charging time, less energy consumption, improved cold weather performance, maintenance-free battery operation and a longer operating life. Reva has got there first with their new proven EV platform that offers an increased range of all of the above.

After researching their customer's habits, Reva realised we're a lazy bunch and normally use our cars to drive to the shops, or "short trips" and so consequently decided to offer a combination of increased range and speed, ensuring 95% of all car journeys can be completed without the requirement to recharge. With a new intelligent battery management system for the L-ion that tracks the performance of each cell for uninterrupted performance, customers also get a three-year battery warranty. Wish we could say the same about our other relationships.
