Handsfree of a different sort
Until the pram came along looking all protective and comfortable, mothers chose to carry their babies in a sling. With the growing influence of “attachment parenting” a concept promoted by paediatrician William Sears, that claims a strong attachment between child and parents ensures a secure adulthood - women (and not forgetting all the good fathers out there) have started to wear their own babies.
Mei-Tai is a patented product by MHUG, designed by Alli Beltrame, a young Italian woman that was in need of hands-free solution that didn't involve a mobile phone. The Mei-Tai sling is not only a smart tool for the modern and active mum/dad but babies too enjoy sitting up due to the product's large belt which redistributes a baby's weight and is the sling's all important USP .
Mei-Tai is available in a variety of colours and fabrics and is made in Milan.
