Don't move from your chair

The Morfojet armchair designed by Gianni Pedone creates a new destination - that of not moving.
With airtravel being stressful at the best of times, why not recreate a first class cabin without the hassle of security checks. The chair's armrests resemble turbines and hiding a powerful sound system (two amplifiers,
a subwoofer and four loudspeaker), and the chair's "wings" are its seat - in handy vicinity of course, of the chair's inbuilt Mp3 player.
The Washington on Fire chair - featured below is by the same Italian designer.
Influenced by climate change, the designer has visualized a city on fire. Its square base is spotted with
cylinders that resemble a city’s skyscrapers. Despite their appearance, the cylinders are actually soft and comfortable and relax under a user's weight - unless of course you're a supermodel and then this seat could prove to be a bit awkward.
The two chairs will be exhibted by Morfonauta, a collective of young Italian industrial designers during Milan's design week. Morfonauta will exhibit at the “Fuori Salone del Mobile 2009” at Hotel Nhow in Via Tortona 35.
