Ask the concierge: The strangest ever requests

Imagine your most well-travelled friend, mixed with a super PR, a discerning restaurant critic and party thrower extraordinaire and you have luxury concierge service - Quintessentially.com. Curious as ever to know what's happening globally - we tapped them for their very (very) insider knowledge.
Quintessentially.com reveals their most fabulous, decadent and unique requests below.
1.
Arranged for an excursion to the North Pole to watch the Northern Lights as well as a luxurious stay in Lapland afterwards.

One member rang Quintessentially in a panic after arriving in London for his father’s OBE ceremony at Buckingham Palace only to discover that he had left the trousers for his tailcoat in Somerset. To the member’s relief, Quintessentially found and delivered the perfect pair of black pinstripe trousers to his suite at The Ritz at 3am.

Organised an epic, action-packed Indiana Jones-style adventure in Jordan which involved training by ex-MI6 agents with missions including uncovering hidden treasures in the desert, rescuing hostages in densely populated market places, off-road desert driving, as well as private access to the ruins of Petra and camping in the Wadi Rum.

Rescued a member from his snowed-under chalet in the mountains.
5.
Secured an opening ceremony VIP box for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
6.
Organised a private jet for a member at short notice after a commercial flight cancellation. Within two hours the member and his guests were in the air, enabling the group to reach their destination in time for their engagement.
7.
Organised a helicopter tour over Mt. Athos complete with guide for a member.
8.
Organised the entire travel itineraries for 15 clients heading to a global conference in Moscow – this included hotels, flights and all client entertaining.
9.
Tracked down the long-lost friend of a member - all he had was his name and that he was in Cyprus or Paris. Quintessentially eventually found him and they got in touch.
Gave one member’s office an environmentally friendly makeover using reclaimed wood furniture and recyclable office stationery.
10.
One member requested our help after finding out he was being relocated through work. We found him a house to rent, organised the shipment of his belongings and reserved places for his children with the top schools in the area - ensuring his move was a smooth as possible.
