A home fit for a blogger

Posted Jul 3, 2009

It's not quite life on the open road, but if the thought of a summer without WIFI is giving you a rash - this could be your vehicle of choice.

The Waskman design studio has collaborated with Creative Space Culdesac to produce a mobile home.

Moving on a patrol four-wheel-drive vehicle, the Vodafone mobile home includes an open bedroom (on the top floor), together with a small kitchen and living room (on first floor) and hs the potential to harness solar energy through solar panels located on the top and sides of the roof.

Offering a green yet trendy nomadic life experience, the multi-leveled home is currently accommodating the Spanish blogger Marcos Morales who will use it to travel across Spain (follow the journey here lacasamovil.com/).

Finished with white polyethylene panels and transparent polycarbonate, the mobile home is divided between two floors and presents a moving space that is 6 meters in length, 2.5 meters in width and 3.85 meters in high, which seems quite sufficient for a small family.

The advantages of the home are if course that it can be parked almost anywhere - perfect for fashion bloggers on the international move.

With no tacky lino in sight - wooden floors and white furtniture will ensure five-star hotels are not that far from your mind. You may to install your own mini-bar however (we have no idea wher you buy sweet peanuts...).

Rid yourself of desperately looking for a Starbucks - curl up on a sofa and blog away.
