The Oscar menu 2009

Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck has the (un)enviable task of catering for this year's Academy's 1,500 "ball guests" that officially includes Oscar winners, nominees, and presenters. Unofficially this of course means catering to 1,500 of the world’s pickiest eaters.
The menu created by Puck and chefs Lee Hefter and Matt Bencivenga is expected to feature those A-List favourites such as Tuna Tartare in Sesame Miso Cones; Chopped Chino Farms Vegetable Salad with Ginger Soy Vinaigrette; Maine Lobster and Caviar; and Pastry Chef Sherry Yard's gold-dusted chocolate Oscars, the Academy said.
Take a peek at the official menu below. Our thoughts? Aside from the slightly worrying Oscar themed noveties - it's scarily normal - pizza, burgers? Who would ever have thought.
